A brief introduction
Yellow Creek Ranch is a small family owned and operated horse and cattle farm where we specialize in the “Quality” and not the “Quantity” of performing/finished Cutting, Reining and Cow Horses. We are proud to own and stand the 2005 NRCHA Open Bridle World Champion, Start Me A Tab. We are located 40 miles west of Nashville in Dickson, TN, in a town that still has that “small town” feel. Sareece Brown & Start Me A Tab, finished in the TOP TEN at the '09 NRCHA World Show in the Non Pro Limited. Tab had the highest cow score in the prelims, marking a 224!!! Congrats to Sareece & Tab on a job well done in one of the toughest classes.
The 2010 ECRCHC turned out to be a huge success this year for the Yellow Creek Ranch & Veal Performance Teams... The team brought home 4 beautiful buckles, 3 new pairs of Rio Mercedes Boots, 2 headstalls, splint boots, bell boots, horse treats & some REALLY nice pay checks!!! Take a look at all we accomplished!!!
- Josh Veal won the Limited Open Derby on our mare Blessed Desire... Blessed Desire & Josh Veal also took home 3rd place in the Intermediate Open Derby & 2nd place in the 5K Novice Horse!!!! Way to goooooo!!!!
- Josh Veal Won the Limited Open Bridle Spectacular on our mare Pepto Cat...
- Sareece Brown & DMAC Spoon Tango won the NP Limited Derby...
- Sareece Brown & Start Me A Tab finished 2nd in the NP Limited Bridle Spectacular...
- Emilie Lind & Bad Boy Boon took home first in the Youth Bridle for the East Coast Regional Championship!!! Way to go Emilie!!! Look for Emilie on the World Wide Of Horses with Robert Chown in her own personal interview!!!
- Emilie Lind & Skeet MD Dust for becoming Reserve Champions in the Non Pro Hackamore for the East Coast Regional Championship!!!
- Congrats to Colton Lind & Little Lonesome Lena for taking the title of Reserve East Coast Regional Champions in the Youth Limited!!! Way to go Colton!!!!

Josh Veal & WR Haidas Cowgirl took home First Place in the NRCHA Limited Open & Open Hackamore... And finished second in the AQHA Junior Cow Horse...
Josh Veal & Dun It With Frtiz placed First in the NRCHA Limited Open & Open Bridle Class along with a second place finish in the AQHA Senior Cow Horse...
Emilie Lind took home First Place in the NRCHA Youth Bridle while her younger brother Colton Lind, finished First & Second in the NRCHA Youth Limited!!!!
Sareece Brown & Start Me A Tab took home the First Place Blue Ribbon in the NRCHA Non Pro Limited!!!

We went out with a BANG at our last show for the 2010 show season!!! Josh Veal & Blessed Desire finished FIRST in the Open & Limited Open ORCHA Derby, while WR Haidas Cowgirl & Josh finished up SECOND in both the Open & Limited ORCHA Derby!!! Sareece Brown & Blessed Desire finished FIRST in the Non Pro Limited ORCHA Derby & Emilie Lind & Skeet MD Dust finished FIRST in the Non Pro ORCHA Derby!!! It has truly been an incredible year & we could never of done it without all the hard work of Josh Veal!!!! Thank you JOSH!!!
Josh Veal & WR Haidas Cowgirl marked the HIGHEST Fence run score at the 2011 ECRCHC Derby in Murfreesboro, TN!!! It was a clean sweep of the Open, Intermediate Open & Limited Open!!! What a great pair these two are...
WR Haidas Cowgirl wins the 2011 August Open GRCHA Derby!!! We almost lost this amazing mare 3 years ago... She truly is a walking miracle!!! Her & Josh are becoming UNSTOPABLE!!!
The 2011 September Gulf Coast Western Cow Horse Event in Sarasota, FL was an incredible show paying out over $16,500.00!!! Yellow Creek Ranch & Veal Performance Horses were able to bring home some nice pay checks winning the following...
-Josh Veal & WR Haidas Cowgirl claimed the FIRST PLACE finish in the Limited Open Derby winning by 7 points!!! They also finished 4th in the Open sending this mare over $10,000 in earnings!!!
-Lucas McCullough & Tinsel Lena won the NP Futurity, blowing every one out of the water by 10 points!!! Way to go Lucas!!!
-Karen Phillips & Junior claimed the 3rd place finish in the NP Futurity!!! Way to go Karen!!!
-Karen Phillips & Plumb Starlight won the NP Hackamore Championship at the GCWCHE!!! Awesome RUN!!!
